These maracas have been a huge hit with my niece. She's 8 months and loves the noise she can make by shaking one maraca (and banging it on the floor!). She's fascinated with the lights and bops along to the melodies of the other maraca. They roll too, which she seems to find great fun! This is such a fantastic stacker toy. Each ring has a different surface making it great for little hands to explore different textures. Has two light settings, one which briefly cycles through various different colours (ideal for play) and a night mode which turns the toy into a nightlight (which has become very handy for those night feeds- just make sure to take the middle ring off to avoid rattling!) for approx. 10 minutes at a time.
